A Proven Leader with Experience
When Josh joined the United States Marines Corps, the values introduced to him as a child - honor, courage and commitment - were reinforced. He has proven himself to be a fiscal conservative on both the local and state level, and his experience with public finance has prepared him well for the office of State Treasurer.
- Josh served on the Council Finance Committee where he dealt with issues including long-term fiscal forecasting, municipal investment strategy and bond-rating protections.
- Josh serves as ranking member of the House Financial Institutions, Real Estate and Securities committee that has jurisdiction over state law dealing with banks, credit unions, investment houses and other financial institutions.
- Josh has worked with state treasurers, legislators and fiscal officers from across the nation in promoting terror-free investment initiatives that require state pension funds to divest from companies doing business with countries that are state sponsors of terror.
